Are you an experienced Paraplanner, who relishes being part of a small, client-centric team, looking for a remote opportunity?

Based in North Tyneside, our client delivers client focused, life-centred financial planning. It is essential that the successful candidate resides within the North East area, as office visits will be required. A small team, they support each other to ensure the business grows and clients receive the best possible service – every single time.

 

This is a brilliant opportunity for someone to continue their paraplanning career in a remote capacity, with study support to Chartered, if desired.

Responsibilities:
·        Prepare for and attend client meetings with the Financial Planners, developing relationships with clients and acting as first port of call for client queries
·        Technical research, financial planning recommendations and implement solutions
·        Analyse portfolios, benchmarking, rebalancing and on-going portfolio maintenance
·        Analyse client data and prepare cash flow analyses (using Voyant)
·        Liaise with product providers and other third parties
·        Delegate tasks effectively to the administrative support team, ensuring the highest levels of client service are delivered
·        Ensure all regulatory and compliance standards are met
·        Contribute to the ongoing development of best practice within the business

·        Diploma in Financial Planning (Dip PFS) or equivalent, is essential

  • Must have previously worked as Paraplanner
    · Knowledge and experience of all areas of financial planning – investment portfolio management, pensions, taxation, protection, estate planning etc.
    ·        Experience of, or keen to learn, cash flow modelling (Voyant)
    ·        Experience of dealing with complex financial planning or high net worth clients, ideally
    ·        A strong relationship builder and collaborative team player with a caring and quality focused, customer centric approach
    ·        Sound technology and mathematical aptitude
    ·        Excellent attention to detail
    ·        Ability to manage workflow effectively
